What data we process and why
When you contact us by phone, email or WhatsApp, we process the data you give us (e.g. your name, phone number, email address, dates of stay, number of guests and your message). We do this to answer your enquiry and handle your booking (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), to meet legal obligations such as tax rules (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) and, if necessary, to pursue claims (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The “Ask about your dates” form does not send any data to our server. Clicking a button opens your email program or WhatsApp with the message ready, and you send it from there. If you use WhatsApp, your data is also processed by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. under its privacy policy.
This site does not collect visitor statistics and uses no advertising or marketing tools.
Third-party services
Hosting: the site is served by GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.). The server may log IP addresses and browser details for security purposes.
Google Maps: the “Location” section shows a Google map (Google Ireland Ltd.). Once it loads, Google may set cookies and process your IP address, including outside the European Economic Area. Details: policies.google.com/privacy.
Icons: some icons on the site are loaded from Iconify (api.iconify.design), which receives your browser's IP address.
Bookings made through Booking.com are covered by Booking.com's privacy policy.
How long we keep data
We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to reply and to handle your stay. Data required by tax law is kept for the period that law requires (usually 5 years).
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete and port your data, to restrict its processing and to object to it. To use these rights, email apartament@zarynkiem.pl. You may also lodge a complaint with the Polish data protection authority (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw).
Cookies and browser storage
The site itself does not use cookies. It only stores a note in your browser's local storage that you closed the map notice, so it isn't shown again. The Google map described above may set cookies. You can delete or block them in your browser settings.
